It was a beautiful Autumn day for the first Autumn laser biathlon event at METEC Driver Training Centre, Bayswater, Melbourne. Over thirty people gathered to participate, offiiciate, or to be Cheer Squad participants, with the youngest supporter being just one month old!
Those “on wheels” rollerskied or Skiked, while others ran around the track, in three events.
The first race was a traditional Sprint, where athletes were timed and graded. This was followed by a Teams Relay event. Then the pressure was really on between teams, with a Super Sprint race.
A great time was had by all, who are looking forward to more METEC fun on 12 April!
