The last “off snow” major event for Australian Biathlon was held at the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia Range at Wodonga recently.
The Interschools Biathlon event had two lead up training days. This is in addition to the regular after school rollerski/laser biathlon on Tuesdays at Victory Lutheran College and Wednesday evening biathlon shooting.
On the Big Day, 120+ kids participated, with twenty-four teams taking part in nine relay events, great fun was had by all!
Many thanks to key organisers Bob Cranage OAM and Michael Wilkinson, along with the teachers and parents from Corowa High School, Tallangatta Secondary College, Corryong Secondary College, Wodonga Senior Secondary College, Wodonga Middle Years College, Catholic College Wodonga, Victory Lutheran College, Beechworth Secondary College and Scots School Albury.
