Australian Biathlon has supported Fast and Female (F+F) since F+F began Downunder in 2013. Earlier in July, Australian Biathlon supported the second F+F event for the 2015 Australian Winter.
This year’s Falls Creek biathlon stand at F+F was run by Coach and retired World Cup biathlete Lynn-Maree Cullen, assisted by “Honorary Female” Bob Cranage OAM.
It was a huge success, as you can see by the pic of happy F&F folk!
F+F Downunder is led by former Canadian national ski team athlete Brooke Darlington, who says:
“Fast and Female AUS will continue the successful legacy of empowering girls through sport that was started in Canada in 2005.
Whether it’s skiing, cycling, triathlon or running – Fast and Female is always looking ways to engage with young female athletes through inspirational sport camps. Spread the love and dominate the world!”
